Thanks everyone who answered my question about dealing with "isming" in public. What great suggestions! This is kind of a touchy subject with me because part of me feels if I'm uncomfortable with his "isming" in public then maybe I don't love and accept him totally for who he is. So, I really appreciated you, Hilda, saying these are feelings you also still deal with. And Lisa, you stated your thoughts beautifully, as did the rest of you.
You've helped more than you know! I even printed your responses so I could carry them in my wallet to look at when I need them!
