As a volunteer as well as a student, I understand am really interested in this conversation. I commend Samantha for having the guts to question motives knowing she has an audience of mainly thouse completely passionate about the program.
If she were one of my volunteers, I'd happily answer her questions and have a full discussion debate on it if she wished and provide any info she wanted but would ask her to not continue working with my child until she could become comfortable with the program. I'm not trying to be disagreeable here but the folks working with our children need to believe in the program we choose and our children's potential rather than trying to go against it. I don't think Samantha is saying this program doesn't work. I think she is being like any good student and trying to find out all the aspects o the program. The financial issue has very little to do with how much she believes in your child.
