: How do you discipline a child with PDD when they don't show any regard to how sad the action makes you? The usual "Time Out" method doesn't work. It's like he doesn't connect the punishment to the act and how it made you feel. We try to reinforce the positive behavior and that does work, but unlearning bad behavior that the PDD child likes to do is proving to be very difficult. Any suggestions?
