Hello,
This comes to mind because of the Floortime messages, but the list got so long, and we are not really talking about Floortime anymore:
Josh won't let go of his belongings like shoes, jacket, etc. at the babysitters. When we go grocery shopping he won't let me leave the bags in the cart and pull up to get them. Autistic and Proud mentioned the anxiety of not understanding later. Is this Josh's problem?
Love,
Jen
P.S. Thank you Shara for the advice. I do need to work on being more comfortable. I guess I'm afraid for everytime I say no, he won't want to interact with me. But I just can't buy everything. He asked me to buy a neon *open* sign (for vendors) at the price club. He loved it, but I'm not planning on opening a restaurant anytime soon.
