I do Not question The O. Inst. At aLL. My son is 11 yrs and profoundly autistic. What I am trying to do now is to have the local school train educators and to integrate the option method into his public school classroom. Are you doing a completly home program? Is it working? How is your Spec. Ed. dept. supporting?
Thanks for your previous reply.

: Hello
: I have been following the programme with my daughter abbie who is 3 for around 10 months now and we have seen some great results. Abbie has angelman syndrome which is a deletion on chromozone 15 and I too had my reservations as the mums I have met following the programme all have children with autisim. However I can say with my hand on my heart that this programme is working for my daughter. Angelman syndrome dictates that no more than an average of three words are ever said and probably not appropriately but abbie has spoken over 35 words in the last 6 months. She lost all but ten for some reason but this week has learnt two new words!!! and I know she will go on gaining more language. I have a big long list of things that abbie can now do and if you would like to email me privately then please do. I hope this encourages you to take the plunge

: bye for now
: Tina and Abbie
