I came across this board while searching for something else on the web, but thought I would throw in some facts that might clear up some vague information floating around out there.

NACD was founded by Robert Doman, Jr., son of Robert Doman, MD. Glenn Doman of the Institutes is Dr. Doman's brother. The Institutes and NACD have no connnection professionally.

The goal of NACD is to recognize, address and fix neurological disorganization and lack of development. The family sets the standard of time per day and program activities are modified tri-annually to accomodate progress and development. The time on program varies per child, from as little as 12-16 months for some children with LD labels, to much longer term for really hurt children.
