: hi bram...i don't think i need any more encourgement to go out...i do it too often :-)...i have amazing parents who babysit 24/7 if i need. my husband and i go out maybe once or twice a week (how spoiled is that). anyways, i too think it's crucial. i've never heard of a school doing greenspan/floor-time. is that something you requested or is it their model of teaching? well, it's alot better than any of the other stuff like TEACCH,PECS,etc...so what do you mean YOU do greenspan and sometimes son-rise at school? now i see the differences between the 2 philosophies, thanks...ola

Ola,

You are very lucky to have such wonderful parents. Our school does the Greenspan/Floortime method as a standard "treatment". We just happened to fall into it. What I mean by I do both at school is there are some parts that are the same, like following and then inspiring growth, that I see myself as doing both. Of course I always ask for eyes if they are not there and other Son-Rise concepts that are not in the Floortime approach. Basically I would say I do do both at Brenen's school.

Bram
