Intravenous Immunoglobulin Therapy. Almost all of our kids have immune system "challenges". IVIG attempts to correct these. Many believe that autism is an autoimmune disorder and that if the immune system can be corrected, the child will improve. One child who did the therapy is "cured". Now he did a lot of other treatments as well, so scientifically speaking, we can not say for certain that the IVIG cured him, but I believe this to be at least a big part in his recovery. I think you can obtain information on this story from ARI (Autism Research Institute).
