You probably know this, but limit his liquid intake an hour before bed if you can. When my son asks me for a drink before bed, I tell him he can have some in the morning. Some times it works and some times he puts up a stink. In any case, the last thing we do before bed is go potty. Then we lay together for a few minutes and try one more time. (He always seems to like to "save" some). Be sure to model for him as best you can. When we were trying to teach him I would drink a full glass of water before going in the playroom so I had to go potty. Tell him how good you feel when you are done going. Make it BIG! If he does wet the bed, be sure that he knows that it is no big deal, but it is a lot more fun and feels GREAT to go in the potty. Most of all, lose any attachment you have to him being potty trained. Within 2 weeks of us doing that, he was going on his own and has continued to do so. Only a rare accident once a month or so. Good Luck!
