Hi Betsy!

I was wondering if you or Mitch would object to putting down an underpad of some sort. This would cut down on the sheet changing, and shouldn't be uncomfortable for him. There's a wonderful company that delivers this kind of stuff (diapers, pads, etc.) to your door at affordable prices called HDIS. Their catalog has disposable as well as cloth (with plastic backing) underpads. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and will probably send you free samples if you want to try. Their website is: http://www.hdis.com/. Phone number: 1-800-2MY-HOME.

Best of luck converting this huge step into a win-win situation!

Love - K.
