: What are other people mixing the super Nu Thera with to give to their children. We just got it and I think it tastes awful. I'm trying to keep the attitude thing going "I believe he will take it". I just want to make it as pleasant as possible. It seems like we are struggling with so many issues right now (gluten free, caesin free, sugar free, yeast free diet).
Hi Lisa:
We have been giving our son the Super NuThera in liquid form for about 6 weeks. Because he is a very perceptive little guy to all tastes and smells we put 1 tsp. into a juice box and he drinks it right down. The liquid does not taste too bad but it does have a strange smell. Once it is in the juice box he can't smell it.
We started slowly and built up to the recommended dose for his weight (2 tsp. per day) but he soon became more hyper and agitated than before so we cut it back to only 1 tsp. per day and he is doing well. We have seen improvement in his behaviors and his intent to communicate but we are also doing the glutin/casein free diet as well so I can't say if it is the vitamins or not. Whatever it is something is happening!!
