: : John,

: : Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. After I read your post I was so excited for you, and I wanted to hug you! I still can't believe how awesome the emotions are that come about from working with everyone in the Son Rise Program! You are in for the time of your life!

: : When I see my son Nick next time I am going to give him a big hug and tell him how much I love him! If it weren't for Nick I would never have met all of the wonderful people in the Son Rise Program. He has helped me find so much more meaning to life.

: : You mentioned that you may try to get your program paid for by the school system. I have some materials that I got at the Maximum Impact that describe how one family was successful at doing that, and if you want I can send you a copy. Just email me you address.

: Hi Doug,
: It was so good to see your name on the message board. I have been wondering where everyone has been these last couple of weeks. Your comments to John are so great - I too now have some experience working with the school district. We are now actually into the litigation phase of trying to get the district to pay for our program. We'll see how far we plan to take it. I also wanted to update you as to where we are on our diet stuff with Kyle. I finally, after all the anquish I went through ove diet, had his blood taken and checked for food allergies. Now I know these tests are not that reliable, but I found out that he is not allergic to anything. I have started to give him a little yogurt (he loves yogurt) and I put his magnesium and chromium (the two minerals that he was deficient in according to urinalysis) into the yogurt. That's about all the dairy he eats in a day and so far, so good. I actually have found that he does good if he stays on the magnesium. What about you. I know that I had made a real case for going off the dairy, so I'm interested in what kind of diet stuff you do. I have told Gerd recently that I think the place where it all happens is in the room. I know the diet is important, but I can't help feeling it all happens in the room.
: Love to you, Jen
