We have been doing a Son-Rise program with Billy for over 18 months and have seen some amazing results. He is now verbal and is just so happy, as well as cooperative and loves people. He plays WITH his sister much to her delight as well as his. In the last couple of days he started to bite his fingers something he did 9 to 12 months ago but we went with it and he stopped. This time it's far more extreme, he's biting the skin from his fingers until they bleed and then he cries because they hurt him. He gets really distressed if we try to put plasters on. We're trying lots of things to keep his hands occupied. Scribbling, games etc but it's as if it's always there as a distraction.
Any suggestions
