: I'm happy to have just discovered this board. We've been doing a Son-Rise program for 3 years with our now 7-year-old son, Nicko. I really like the approach and the attitude, and I believe that we all have benefitted from the program quite a bit. But now we need a little help...
: It seems that our program has stalled somewhat (exacerbated by a cross-country move this summer and some other craziness in life). I'm trying to make sure I stay focused on enjoying and having fun with my son. But I also really feel the need to have more clarity - structure, if you will - as to what we're doing and how to do it. As he gets older, it seems more complex.
: He's verbal, but most of his speech is things going on in his head from the past, and is often very repetitive. It's a challenge to get him interested in or motivated by most external things. And he's become more like that in recent months.
: Any thoughts?
: Thanks for the "listening ear,"
: Jane
