How do I inspire language?????

Hi Guy's, here's a question for you all - I'd love some input on.
Charlotte is classically autistic & was non-verbal when we first started our S-R programme 2 1/2 years ago. Now she has a vocabulary of 400+ words and two & three word sentences. I'm sooooo grateful for this & celebrate it daily, but I want more!!!!!!!
Has anyone else been in my shoes? Does the sentences/questions just all of sudden come? Charlotte has the amazing ability to know exactly what I'm talking about lots of the time, she smiles/smirks etc, but rarely responds verbally - any suggestions?
