Yes, my wife simply asked the local high schools if they had any requirements as far as volunteer work/community service work. They told her about the "Share Program". My wife somehow talked the person in charge of it to put our Son Rise program on the list. It was that simple. Easy for me to say, my wife did all the work. We had been searching for a few months, so this did not just happen. We kept thinking of any possible way to get more help. There were many dead ends. This one came through in a big way for us. Another thing I did was talk at our community college to a class of students going into working with special needs kids. No luck at volunteers, but I met through one of the students, a family I got some great knowledge from. Good luck. They are out there. You just have to keep asking.
