I distictly recall Byrn mentioning that a parent had done exactly that (funding to run her son-rise program) and if you wanted information on it to call the option and tell them and they can send it to you!!!

: Has anyone attempted to or had success in getting their early intervention program or school district to provide funding (either respite or one-on-one aide) for a Son-Rise program? I am drafting an initial proposal letter to my Regional Center (CA early intervention) requesting increased respite care and funding for an aide to be hired by me(someone to work in our Son-Rise program).
