History of treatments for autism

[ Follow Ups ] [ The Son-Rise Message Board ] [ FAQ ]

Posted By Leslee on March 05, 2001 at 22:26:46:

I am having a hard time finding early treatments of autism. I am writing a paper for my educational
psychology class on the transition of early treatments to the modern treatments that we use today.
I want to show the how thinking has changed about autism. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My email is:
cattibri25@yahoo.com

Another question...does anyone know if the chance of autism is greater in a premature child. I have a
baby that was born 3 months early and I worry about mental problems with him as well as physical.
I was told in the NICU that autism is getting more common with preemies. Any info or opinions?
