I remember starting our program about 2 1/2 years ago. I felt this huge urgency to get everything done, like there was some deadline. What ended up happening is, I tried to do too much at once, didn't schedule any down time in and I got pretty stressed out (for about a year). I would set small goals for yourself, cross one off the list and set another. I would also schedule some time for yourself to do whatever you want and enjoy it. What an adventure you are starting on!!! Good luck, Lisa
: Hi . My name is Maureen Butchen and my husband and I attended the start up son rise program in Massac. about 3 weeks ago. We found the week to be enormously inspiring to us both and feel if we can replicate a similar son-rise program for our son, Alexander, he stands to benefit tremendously.
: I would now like to reach out to anyone with helpful start up suggestions. : Also, I would love to get in contact with another who is pursuing the son-rise program for their child who lives on Long Island, New York. My town on Long Island is Seaford. It would be of great help to have some local support, especially at our early stage of setting up this program for Alex. Please contact me and lets talk...thank you, Maureen Butchen : email; gbutchen
