Ola, I am going to order the mats online from www.Greatmats.com. I am getting the gray color(least stimulating) but they are back ordered for a couple weeks on the gray. I am optimistic that this will work well. The guy I am dealing with is David. You can fax him a layout of your room (with measurements) and they provide you with most of the border and corner pieces you will need. I guess the mats can be cut with an exacto knife for custom fitting. The cost is approx. $1.99 per sq. foot. If you decide to get it, do a post and let me know how it turns out. I'll go the same. : : I wanted to get some advice on flooring for the playroom. Due to a couple of factors (width of room and tile floor), I am having difficulty with putting in the carpet padding/vinyl flooring combination. I am looking into putting in dense foam interlocking mats in a gray color. These mats are used in preschools and exercise rooms. They do not absorb water and are very durable, soft, shock absorbent, yet firm enough for play with cars, etc. Has anyone else tried this type of flooring? Any other suggestions? Any help is much appreciated.
