: I wanted to get some advice on flooring for the playroom. Due to a couple of factors (width of room and tile floor), I am having difficulty with putting in the carpet padding/vinyl flooring combination. I am looking into putting in dense foam interlocking mats in a gray color. These mats are used in preschools and exercise rooms. They do not absorb water and are very durable, soft, shock absorbent, yet firm enough for play with cars, etc. Has anyone else tried this type of flooring? Any other suggestions? Any help is much appreciated.
dear julie.....please tell me where i can get this flooring. for the past year or so, i've been looking for something like this because we too have odd dimensions that the linolium flooring won't work. i would really appreciate it if you can pass along a phone number or website where i can order this stuff. thank you very much... love, ola
