Is it possible that he's somehow telling you that it's not appropriate for him? Curtis has always been very good at absolutely refusing meds and supplements that we later discover he's reacting to or are not right for his system. Perhaps trying some other things that accomplish the same thing might help. There are many food items and herbs that are particularly good for colds, helping your body heal faster without the dopiness you get from typical cold meds. Thyme is a great decongestant and a pretty tastey tea. You can also mix it into foods pretty easily. You can add fengugreek as an expectorant. Lots of vitamin C, garlic and extra zinc is also really helpful. Vitamin C is a natural antihistamine. Also, aromatherapy oils can be really great at keeping airways clear.
