One of MANY great suggestions Bryn and William told me during the Start Up I attended 10/2000 was regarding
how to take this back to my husband. The Son-Rise experience is truly an experience and I wasn't sure how
to relay it to hubby. Well I came home and didn't ooz about much, rather I took Bryn & Williams advise and
"modelled" it for my husband and sure enough he saw I was getting results and wanted some of it.

Last night he was down on the floor with our son, Darren, who is 2.9 yrs old and who's latest "ism" is lint. Yes
lint, loves to hold it, roll it in his fingers, drop it infront of his face and watch it land, etc. So hubby got some
of his own lint and was laying on his belly across from our son. And pretty soon I hear Darren just squeeling
with such joy and happiness, I look over and he is dead on eye contact and interactive with Daddy. I sat and watched
for a few minutes just so happy to see both of them completely captivated in the moment and happy and just
enjoying the interactiveness when I hear my hubby say "Darren, look at this (eye level to eye level) he hands
Darren some lint and just with all the 3 E's talks about how great this lint is! Darren LOVED it, and within
short time Darren was sharing his lint with Daddy. Who would have known!!! I would have never thought to
share the lint, get excited about the lint, etc. But here we all were, me sitting from a far, learning from both of
them that joining takes on many MANY different diminsions! They laid there and were able to go from ism to
joining to interaction for a good 20 minutes! Just had to share, I thought it not only a great new idea but
so heart warming to watch my once completely secluded son interacting, looking at, and laughing with his Daddy.
Pre-Start up our son could care less if we were here with him or not, those days are longgggg gone and I am
ever soo grateful!

XOX,
Wynee
