FYI -- very few people who volunteer in Son-Rise programs have experience with Son-Rise when they first start. Out of the 35+ volunteers we've had throughout the life of my son's program, only one had experience in another Son-Rise program and only four had experience working with special-needs children. Some of our best volunteers came to us with no experience but an open mind and desire to learn.
