We went through several rounds of that with Curty, usually when his gut was not feeling well. He'd go for a few weeks barely eating a thing and sometimes a few days without eating a bite. The only wisdom I got from going through several rounds was that the more comfortable I was, the quicker he got back to eating. When I freaked out (which I did several times), it seemed to prolong it. In hindsight, that makes sense, since stress can make an upset stomach worse.

If you can stay comfortable, offer food without judgement, eat alot in front of him and wait it out, he'll probably come back to food when he's feeling better. If he'll take liquids, you may want to see if he can tolerate one of the protien shakes health stores sell. Curty was always so allergic to everything that he never could tolerate them. If he'll swallow pills, get some alfalfa since it's loaded with nutrients and is a bit of a cleanser so will help him heal faster.

When he was having gut aches, fennel or peppermint tea and aloe vera juice helped alot.
