Hey my dear Brian!

Trisha is Ben's aide for the majority of the hours that Ben is in school, and there is also a speech therapist who drops in twice a week for a half hour visit when Trisha is not there. They have a clipboard hanging on the wall with his IEP goals on it, and they put a + or a - next to each goal based on what they see, with comments. It's certainly not an exact science, in fact it reinforces my belief that it's silly to think that we can measure this stuff, but it does seem to be a good indicator of progress and keeps everyone focused on our major desires: improved socialization and communication skills.

Of course he's been home the last 3 days with pneumonia... !

Love you guys - thanks for the encouragement - 2K.
