Hello to all of the wonderful people on this message board.
I recently have spoken to Tali at the Option Instistute who suggested that I post here to find volunteering opportunities!
I am 14 years old and reside in the Northeastern US, in the town of Connecticut. I have worked with autistic children for two years and previously hold a job babysitting for two wonderful boys.
I am very interested in the Son-Rise program, and have received information on the program, as well as speaking to people there about my interest and what might be available to me.
I have not yet undergone the StartUp program, but have been told that this is certainly worth trying.
I would be delighted to hear from anyone who may be interested in including me in their program, or simply anyone who has advice or information for me.
