Hallo Yvette,
What helped us was first playing with a doll on a toy toilet (in our case a book Het huis van Muis). We played putting the doll on the toilet and Eduard made the correct "weeing" noise. He was also very happy to sit on the toilet doing nothing. I tried running the tap but he was able to withstand the noise of running water so then I ran a little bit of water (not too cold!) over his piemeltje and that finally did the trick.
However I have not found a solution for the other problem he has always pooped at night and still wears a nappy at night. I am not sure how to solve this problem.
Love,
Joanna
