love, Heather: We too used to have a wonderful time acting out books and it really led to some great pretend play. In addition to the great ideas suggested by others, how about creating your own books where you describe something you want to do together in story form, perhaps even using photos? Then act it out together. We did this for awhile to help my son better describe events and he still loves to read through those books.

: Not sure if this would apply, but when my son was really into particular books and we wanted to encourage his ability to visualize and order things better, we bought extra copies of the books he loved, cut out pictured pages and cut them into puzzles. Since he was familar with the pictures, it made it much easier for him to grasp the concept of putting pictures together.
