Paulina - Hello. After much research I just recently discovered that I am an Aspie. What a releif to me to know that all of the problems I had/have with reference to my differences, etc were related to this syndrom. I am 37 years old and the pieces of my life are finally falling together for the first time.

I wish someone could have pointed me in this direction years ago when I could have gotten help somewhere along the way instead of fighting my way thru life, never unstanding why I was so strange and never fit in. I also have dyslexia which was not diagnosed until I was 26 and trying to go to college.

But now I know and understand, and a peace has kind of settled over my being. I understand.

P/s - I also have a son with autism. Best wishes with your decision. You sound like a wonderful freind.
