Hi! I am an OT student and Mom of a 5yo boy w/ "high-functioning" autism. We live in Austin, Texas. Am trying to arrange WELL in advance (when I have schoolwork) with a person(persons?) interested in working part time from March-August 2001. The job? Inclusion Attendant with Our Son, in the afternoons, at playground, toy and bookstores, other kid-specifc area locales, where he has opportunity to interact and build on his present social/play skills. It's a great job and terrific learning experience---plus IT PAYS WELL.You could also get the future benefit of Occupational Therapy intervention advise, and a parent friend :-) If you are interested in the job, or have a child who could benefit from meeting and playing with us! please email Mom/nancy at Nanski2000@yahoo.com.Thanks!
