I can't say I have any experience with this, but here's what I would do. I wouldn't let him do anything that hurts you or that you simply don't want him to do. So if he starts digging, I would put my nose out of reach and not react (inwardly or outwardly). When he touches the outside of your nose I would give a big reaction (inwardly and outwardly)...kisses, cheers, comments like- Oh, you are being gentle now, yahoo!!!! Love, L
: Hello,
: My son is Darren, he's 2 1/2 and Dx'd Autistic at age 23 months. I went to start up in No. Ca at the end of : Oct 2000. For the first time I truly feel I can help me son! AND I am seeing results!!! one thing that does : have me stumped is this: within the past few weeks, he's facinated with our nose and ears! It went from : just touching the outsides and then he would touch his.. almost as if he's realized for the first time that : we have what he does.. and now it's escalated to digging for gold! At first I didn't mind and I went alot with it : but now he's practically reaching my brain! Any ideas on how to deal with this issue?? Thank you!
