The gluten casine free and low sugar diet is not enough to solve my son's stool problems. We have to give him digestive enzymes as well. We use Peptidase from Apothecure in Texas. In the past we used Similase which are plant enzymes. It is not as good as Peptidase, but it is comparable.
For a year, Josh took Nystatin and now his yeast/bacteria overgrowth is gone.
We have given him SupraNuThera and I really didn't see a big change.
I think all of this stuff is good for his health, but his program is where he learns. I guess my motivation for doing diets is because he really is malnourished from a leaky gut if I don't.
