Our room is long and narrow, 10' wide at one end and 14' wide at the other end. The seam runs about 10' long and is in the path to the bathroom, which is also the main shower we use every day. The seam was put together by using high grade double stick tape, normally used in putting down outdoor carpet on concrete. We simply stuck that to the carpet pad, then pulled off the paper cover, then stuck the paper side of the linoleum down to that. After that we used a "glue paste" type product that is specifically for filling in the tiny gap in the seam. It came as a small bottle kit that also had a clear liquid to seal over the paste.

The seam has handled up well to the daily traffic it gets. Unfortunately, our son has had a difficult time staying in the room for any period of time, so the floor itself is not getting a real test yet. We put the floor down in March right after my Start-up. Early on in our program we were being dragged in by our son, then not yet 3 yrs old. Now for reasons we are still exploring, he has resisted going in the room, so we just work in the rest of the house for now. We also hve not noticed any "slipping" of the floor. Maybe it is because at his young age we have not started to play as vigorous as we will in the furture!!

I will keep an eye out for problems and maybe come up with a way to stop it before too much damage occurs.
