Dear Jamie. We do not tend to go for sudden massive changes all at once.A philosophy of making changes 'a little bit at a time' seems more manageable to us.Gluten seemed easier to do first as I am fairly clued up on it as my mum has Coeliacs Disease. Also I was concerned about poor calcium intake removing dairy. If you have a 'faddy' child as far as food is concerned it is quite a challenge cutting out both[although it is manageable].Also our instinct was that he almost seemed to be craving gluten[wheetabix/toast/bread/crackers and fuelling up on it at night ready to bounce the night/evening away....so a bit of instinct too I think.Good luck with your endeavors. If it works it will be a real help.If you do cut out dairy long term do make sure you get a dietician to advise on adequate calcium intake.Love Jeanie
