Dear Anna. We find if Jo is anxious about something it can help for him to have photos in a book or a taperecording of the sound or a video tape of it.Could you either photo or audio or videotape her arriving then going in to play with him doing something he loves to do so if he feels anxious he can go to it and look/listen with you.Polaroids are nice as they are instantly there. If he doesn't want to record with her could you take some photos of her doing different things and make an album or a casette of her reading or singing for him to have. Also if he talks about doing someting and her not coming back could you ask him'how would you feel if she did not come back' or 'why would you do that'.I remember one of the books ? the miracle continues ?? a miracle to believe in discusses one volounteer the kaufmans had who was great but their child could not settle with at one stage...it might be worth looking up how they approached that?.Good luck love Jeanie
