hi to everyone:
just a small but huge story to tell. i have been taking john to his sister alex's soccer practices. he has been joining the other kids when they run around the backstop with huge smiles on his face, giving his sister hugs. our neighbor, pat, is so good about always trying to engage john in conversation, took up a ball and started practicing with john. john was so awesome, kicking and running just like all the other kids. one mom was asking what his diagnosis was and when i told her it was "autism", she couldn't believe it. what a difference from last year. i am so PROUD of the little guy. lots of love to all the son-rise families and your awesome kids, chris
