Hi Monica,
We have been to the start up programme in June past and we got there by fund raising.
Myself and my daughter have been organizing several events,but first i would say you would need something printed up with details of your son and about son rise and a picture of your son.
We had charity disco nights,bingo in the church hall,tombola's,keep fit clubs helped and we got a lot of help from our local police force who did some hill climbs.I also got permission from one of our super markets to run car boot sales every weekend and this really helped and is finishing this weekend.
We are from Scotland and we have nearly got enough for the next programme so it's not impossible,but it is a lot of work writing to local firms and shops for any donantion or goods.
I could send you copies of what we have done for my grandson Jamie to give you an idea ,so reply if you would like us to do this.
