I like to mention somethin about a whiteboard.
Last week i introduced dough in the playroom. The volunteer who worked with my son, played with it for 2 hours! Sticking forms, creating little animals, funny puppets in colors, etc. on the board, and removing it again. I did get the board for drawing on it also, but my son draws on the wall, floor, on everything but the board and there i did not want him to think this could also be done in the living room. So i removed the markers for a while. So i got those magnetic letters and numbers, in colors. And he loves it. We dont actually try to let hem read, but, as we put it on the board we say colors, what kind of letter it is, and show him how it is said in a real funny way. I think he now, knows at least two colors. I i give him a bleu letter, i say, can you stick it to the other bleu ones? and he does. And it goes for red also. Or i ask where do you think this one goes? And he recognizes it. And does place it with the right group. Remon is capable now, of sayin at least 3 or 4 words. This all happened in the playroom.
