Dear Kath. Not quite the same but we went through a real protest stage about baths and tooth brushing can still be a source of much protest sometimes. For the bath I made up a little rhyme'Wash off the yoghurt, wash off the toast, wash off the Krispies and wash off the beans....wash off the honey, wash off the roast, wash off the pudding and now we are clean',and a short song for tooth brushing.Initially I would do them very fast and always stop at the end of the song/rhyme.As time went on I slowed them down more and more and can sometimes now get away with several verses for brushing Teeth.Bath time was only a struggle for a few months. If Jo could guage how long an offending activity would take I think he felt less trapped by it.It also does sound as if either touch or sound sensitivities are an issue with Hair and nails for you at present.Good Luck.Love Jeanie.
