Charlie wanted a dummy. (soother/pacifier) He took my hand and led me to the kitchen. He put my hand on the worktop where it was, but it was out of his reach.
"Ah-ha! I said, you want a dummy! Use your pointy finger" (meaning point to it.)
He made his finger point, and pointed haphazardly all around.........
Well I should have been specific!!!!!!
