My 20-month old daugther has been diagnosed with speech apraxia/dyspraxia/hypotonia (and possible brain injury at birth). I am planning to attend a Son-Rise program in December, but in the meantime can anyone out there help me with "oral fixing" or "oral posturing". What happens is when she goes to express herself, her mouth gets stuck in a wide open position. I've contacted a few speech therapists (ina addition to the one she sees) to see if they can help me to help her overcome this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

PS. Has anyone out there ever done cross pattering exercises to help possible brain injury? Thanks.
