Well put, Bram. I agree that this diet can be helpful, but repair work should also be done at the same time - without it there will be no support for the removal of the bandaid.

Although many families have made this diet a part of their daily life, it is still very restrictive and narrows and even eliminates many of the choices these kids will be free to make at school or at a restaurant or at a friend's house.

If it was a cure all, you can bet I'd eliminate it completely. I guess I've chosen to go WITH Ben's reaction to this food - maybe having just a little dose of "heroin" isn't such a bad thing.
