What a beautiful thing you have decided to do for your daughter - I applaud you for being so loving and daring, and admire you for trying to do this on your own, that is, without the full benefit of training from the institute. But I encourage you with all my heart to make it there - you'll be amazed at how much you can learn in a week there, present questions included! You will come out of there very confident in the knowledge you have from being her mother - you are her best and most knowledgeable advocate - your attitude really matters for your program to be successful! You will learn powerful methods for questioning your beliefs that may have you rethinking whether she is actually bored or not - she will become your teacher in many ways!!

I was not a very creative person before going to the Start-Up program, but they explained creativity as just changing one thing - who can't do that?? We did several activities to help us be more creative. People on this board will probably be more than happy to post their creative ideas if you can post some specific examples of things your daughter does that have you feeling stuck in this area. In the meantime, I would encourage YOU to be the most exciting thing in the room - we barely used any toys the first couple of months in our program.
