My daughter has brain damage and poor expressive language skills. She does not make eye contact when working with her but she is not autistic. We have started a program with her at home based on readings and other info. I think she is bored with us. She likes to pick what she wants from the toy shelf but after a few days she seems to say no to everything we offer. If we just give a choice of a few things she will pick one. I think she is getting bored with us already. How do you be creative? We are trying. She loves to got to the room to play and it is tough to get her to leave the room. We have three other children and are only up to about 3 hours a day. It has been less than a week. Any suggestions would be welcome. Please e-mail me. We are trying to come up with a time to attend the start up but have not made it yet. Also it is expensive for two to go. Thanks.
