: Last night my husband and i watched a program about a small boy who was on the LOVAAS program, i have to say that i was in tears at the end i felt soul destroyed for the little boy, i have never seen such an archaic approach, the poor little boy was manipulated and controlled. I felt that this may have encouraged other parents to take this course of action with their children, how devestating for them it would be.
: I am therefore writing to ask that if you saw the program and you live in England and you feel the same as i do, then please e-mail channel 4, i have suggested that they put "i want my little boy back" on. so that people can see the loving, positive approach. Please help me to try and help some other little children.

Hi Clare, I watched this programme and did not like what i saw,especially the part when Alexander was put in the the middle of the floor with the children going round him ,he looked totally lost and unhappy. I suppose his parents thought they were doing the best for him. Some of the Lovaas treatments are okay but some not for us.
