Hi Jeanie,

We did a flight with Robert (5) from heathrow to Boston in Feb. of this year to the institute and it was 1000% better than we ever dreamt of -there are those judgements rearing their ugly old heads once again. We did quite a bit of preparartion before hand, Airplane play in the playroom, books, talking about what was going to happen. We also went during 1/2 term week so the queues at the airports were horrific, Robert coped fine. We did have a disabled buggy which meant he had his on space to sit if he needed it to help us through the check ins etc. Special assistance is a MUST it means you queue jump. We also took a game boy &, presents for the plane. We requested the bulk head seat which meant with the aid of the in flight blanket we were able to make alittle fort for Robert for the flight!!! The flight ended up -due to bad weather being 10hours. We were all tired but managed to make it a fun if not challenging experience. We all took homeopathic remedies and LOTS of fluid too Hope this gives you a few ideas....e-mail if you want

lots of love

Anna
