John I think we all feel compelled to respond to you because you sound as if you are seeking help/unsatisfied with your current situation. Whatever you decide to do be happy with it. You are doing the best you know how for yourself and Adam. I think having a healthy attitude matters more than the program you pick.
I was helped immensely by the Start-Up. It allowed me to let go of a ton of guilt reguarding a vaccination I had prior to learning I was pregnant. If I continued to lug that around, no matter what program, diet, or medical intervention we tried I would have continued to be unhappy. I still have my bad days, but I turn them around alot faster than before. I feel so blessed to have an autistic child. He is so joyous, such an individual. I've truly never known anyone like him. Sometimes I feel sorry for people who don't get this experience. Isn't that funny?
