This may be too late, but I'd highly recommend getting a copy of the Autism Research Institute's DAN! Report before seeing your doctor. This report lists all of the recommended biomedical testing for autism compiled by some of the most prominent docs in the field. It also contains a flow-chart of symptoms to help you determine which tests are most applicable to your child.

Every child is different, but of all the test we've done on Curtis, the hair analysis for toxic metals, Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis (from Great Smokies Diagnostic Lab) and the 24-hour Amino Acids test (from Doctor's Data) have been the most helpful.
