You might want to run a follow-up urine and blood test on calcium levels. High calcium in the hair could indicate a problem absorbing calcium rather than an overload of it. Doing urine and blood together could show you how it's being absorbed.
By the way, I highly recommend hair analysis for all autistic kiddos. It's cheap -- about $33 -- and can show you if the child is toxic in any heavy metals which can really play havoc on your body.
